Jumeirah Beach Park-A Family Picnic Spot


Jumeirah Beach Park is a ideal for a family picnic on the weekends. The park has a beach front and is visited a lot by tourists for swimming and sunbathing.Jumeirah Beach Park is a marvelous painting of landscaping and environmental coordination.

The Jumeirah Park was opened in 1989 on 13 hectares of land, to be the first beach park, overlooking directly the Arabian Gulf in Jumeirah residential area. Different earth levels distinguish the park, constituting a group of green hills encompassing recreational and games areas.

Entry fee for the park is Dhs 2 per person or Dhs 20 per vehicle.The park is open between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 p.m. daily. only mondays entry is restricted to women and children.

Majlis Gallery-A Commercial Artistic Meeting Place of Dubai


The Majlis Gallery was opened on November 2nd, 1989 as a commercial artistic exhibition and a meeting place for artists. It is located in an old traditional house in Al Bastakiyah area in Bar Dubai.

The Majlis Gallery is Dubai's first and foremost purveyor of indie creativity. The word 'Majlis' is Arabic for a hospitable meeting place, and the gallery is just that - a warm, cozy haven for people to stroll through on those still afternoons.

A Place For Tourists- BASTAKIYA


Bastakiya is situated in Bur Dubai, with its narrow lanes .It attracts a lot of tourists,due to its exuberates the ancient and historical feel of Dubai.

This unique part of town is worth checking out, as it offers travelers glimpses of what life has been like in the Old Town since the 19th century, when Persian merchants first moved here and "set up shop," so to speak. Since many of these expatriates hailed from Iran's Bastak region, this quarter of town became know as the Bastakiya District.

After undergoing renovation and preservation, Bastakiya has been transformed into a tourist village complete with a cultural center, a museum, an art gallery and restaurants.

Dubai Municipality is planning to renovate all the historic buildings of the Bastakiya area to open more museums, galleries, restaurants and traditional markets. The building consists of two floors and one of two entrances is located in the north. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, which have traditional windows. There is a kitchen, separate bathrooms for the bedrooms and two storerooms, one in each floor. There is a large room on the upper story, which includes traditional windows, a hall and a bathroom.

Dubai Heritage Village


Dubai Heritage Village is constructed around an old settlement and is a recreation of a traditional style mountain village set in an oasis. The Dubai Heritage Village helps you discover the old world charm of barasti or palm leaves and mud houses. There's a large central fort and tower which overlooks the Dubai Heritage Village.

There are several outdoor meeting places and resting areas in Heritage Village known as Al Hadeera also known as Al Barza in local language of Heritage Village .

Heritage Village of Dubai is mainly Focusing on the Emirate's past maritime, pearl diving traditions and architecture, the village guide offers you storybook that display some past picture of heritage of Dubai including a tented Bedouin village, ancient armory, wooden chests and cooking utensils .

In the Dubai Heritage Village there are all traditional houses in the Hatta style, showing a majlis, store, kitchen master bedroom and children's room. Hatta Village or Dubai Heritage Village is overlooked by two round towers, the Southern and Northern Towers of the Heritage Village are protect the city from external attacks. These towers of the Village were built in the 1880s, When Shaikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Butti was the Ruler of the Dubai.
