Mall of Emirates, biggest Mall in UAE

Mall of the Emirates is the biggest mall of the Middle East. Mall of the Emirates is an ultimate leisure, entertainment and shopping place. Mall of the Emirates was established in September, 2005.

Mall of the Emirates is located in heart of Dubai. There are about 400 retailers in mall of the emirates. Mall of the Emirates contains approximately 2.4 million square feet of shops and the entire mall forms a total of approximately 6.5 million square feet.

Mall of the Emirates features a complete range of entertainment options including Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski destination in the Middle East, a two-level Magic Planet, the largest indoor family entertainment centre in the country.

Mall of the Emirates was crowned The World's Leading New Shopping Mall at the World Travel Awards which was held in November 2005. With the Ski area or Ski Dubai, which is one of the largest in the world, the Mall of the Emirates is differentiate itself from other malls in Dubai and the surrounding Emirates.

There is a traditionally-styled Arabian Souk offering an array of locally produced handicrafts in Mall of the Emirates for a more authentic experience.

Mall of Emirates includes stores such as Harvey Nichols, the largest of its kind in the Middle East, as well as Emporio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabanna, Franck Provost, Vacheron Constantine, Emporio Armani Café, The Toy Store, as well as Johnny Rockets and Jacky's at Magic Planet.

A Place For Tourists- BASTAKIYA

Bastakiya is situated in Bur Dubai, with its narrow lanes .It attracts a lot of tourists,due to its exuberates the ancient and historical feel of Dubai.

This unique part of town is worth checking out, as it offers travelers glimpses of what life has been like in the Old Town since the 19th century, when Persian merchants first moved here and "set up shop," so to speak. Since many of these expatriates hailed from Iran's Bastak region, this quarter of town became know as the Bastakiya District.

After undergoing renovation and preservation, Bastakiya has been transformed into a tourist village complete with a cultural center, a museum, an art gallery and restaurants.

Dubai Municipality is planning to renovate all the historic buildings of the Bastakiya area to open more museums, galleries, restaurants and traditional markets. The building consists of two floors and one of two entrances is located in the north. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, which have traditional windows. There is a kitchen, separate bathrooms for the bedrooms and two storerooms, one in each floor. There is a large room on the upper story, which includes traditional windows, a hall and a bathroom.
